County Line Bait and Tackle is a family owned, independent local business with knowledgeable staff and friendly "Mom & Pop" atmosphere. The shop is located just next to the Wildlife Boat Landing at the NorthEast Cape Fear River in Castle Hayne. 

At County Line we believe in family, community, charity, and country.  We love hosting fishing tournaments or cookouts for local charities.  We enjoy our young customers who are just learning about fishing and hunting. We offer a discount to all of our friends in the military and police force.

We specialize in freshwater fishing but we also offer saltwater fishing supplies and hunting supplies in season.  We have one of the widest selections of live bait in the area:  five sizes of freshwater minnows, mud minnows for saltwater, live eels, frozen eels, redworms, nightcrawlers, frozen shrimp, ballyhoo, cigar minnows, mullet...and more.

County Line Bait & Tackle is a NC Saltwater Fishing Tournament Official Weigh Station that also sells fishing/hunting licenses.
